Nothing could have prepared Judy Collier for the emotional turmoil that would enter her life. No words suffice to describe the emptiness that engulfed her entire being. A life without her son was a life she didn’t want to live.

Five and a half years have passed since that dreadful day in 1996 when Judy’s life was shattered. But the many, many blessings that began coming her way awakened her to a world she would never have thought possible. Judy currently resides in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, with Jim, her husband of forty years. She and Jim have three children -- Jill, Jamie, and Kyle, and are blessed with nine grandchildren. Judy is a schoolteacher who works with special-needs children.
